Sociologist and Political Scientist, with experience in management and development of social projects. She has professional experience in implementation of public policies for active aging, policies for gender equality and in Public Engagement, Local Policies, and Citizens’ Participation. In recent years, she has been specializing in innovative educational programs, cooperative learning and gamification, in the field of education in rural areas.
Maite holds a master’s degree in Public and Social Policies (Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona) and another university master’s degree in Teaching in Secondary Schools, Vocational Training and Language Centers (University of Castilla-La Mancha). As she strongly believes in lifelong learning, she combines her professional and research activity with studies on Spanish language and literature. She is currently interested and researching on indicators of educational inequality in Spain and comparative public policies in European Union countries.
